Bright and zingy, Honest John Grapefruit Bitters bring a compelling complexity of flavor to the fore with notes of rose, hops flowers, coriander, Devil’s Claw, and pink peppercorn enhancing the crisp, citrus-forward foundation. A few dashes of grapefruit bitters add nuance to fizzy or fruity summer drinks like vodka-soda, Aperol Spritz, or a Pisco Sour. A judicious addition of this tincture brings a Cosmopolitan cocktail into the twenty-first century and enlivens a classic G&T with aplomb. Grapefruit bitters are also exceptionally versatile in baking, making for a subtle and aromatic additive to buttercream frosting, flan, or tea cakes.
