Black Walnut Chocolate Chunk Cookies

 2 ½ Cups All-purpose flour

1 Tsp. Baking Soda

½ Tsp. Salt

1 Stick Unsalted Butter at room temperature

2 Cups Packed Brown Sugar

2 Large Eggs

2 Tsp. Honest John Black Walnut Bitters

1 - 4 Oz. Bar of Semisweet Chocolate Chopped Roughly

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium mixing bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt, set aside. In the bowl of a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and beat until well combined. Add the bitters and mix again until fully incorporated. With the mixer off, add your flour mixture to the bowl. Mix on medium speed just until the dough comes together. Add the chocolate chunks and mix for 5 seconds. Place spoonfuls of the dough onto the baking sheet. Do not flatten the dough. Bake until just browned on top, about 10 - 11 minutes. Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
